Was extremely happy with the rate and lack of fees plus how little we had to do as the loan progressed. Only thing I wish is that there was more communication throughout on status and reassurance of next steps (or lack there of). It took ~3 months to close and we’d sometimes go a month at a time without hearing anything. Chris had warned me it would take a long time so that was fine but a little more frequent communication would have been nice.
Whenever I had a question Steve was quick to respond via email or with a quick call. This was our second loan closed through Steve and we will continue to come back for future needs. The website is super easy to use and I loved that I could just upload documents. Great experience start to finish!

I was very pleased with the refinance experience with Better. The online portal for uploading documents and keeping track of the process was the best I have seen. Required very little time in talking back and forth with representatives. Better was accountable for some process delays (as the rate lock was going to expire). Better extended the rate lock at their cost. Totally amazing and they could have easily just dropped this Refi. I was impressed. I highly recommend this lender.
